Coronavirus update – self employment income support scheme (seiss) [5th may 2020]

Following a further update on the Government’s financial support for the Self Employed earlier this week i.e. the Self Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS), HMRC has started to contact a number of our clients to let them know when the applications under the scheme can be made online.

Although we are not able to assist our clients by managing the application process, as for ‘furloughed employees’ under the CJRS scheme, the process for applying directly with HMRC appears to be fairly straightforward.
